ફ્રી શીપ કાર્ડ

ફ્રી શીપ કાર્ડ એટલે શું ? ભારત સરકાર દ્વારા અનુસૂચિત જાતિ (SC) અને અનુસૂચિત જન જાતિ(ST) સમુદાયના વિદ્યાર્થી-વિદ્યાર્થીનીઓ માટે ભારત સરકાર પોસ્ટ મેટ્રીક સ્કોલરશીપ યોજના અમલમાં મુકવામાં આવેલી છે. આ યોજના અંતર્ગત જે વિદ્યાર્થીઓ સ્વનિર્ભર સંસ્થાઓમાં (પ્રાઇવેટ કોલેજ કે યુનિવર્સિટીમાં) પ્રવેશ મેળવવાની ઈચ્છા ધરાવતા હોય અને જેમને પ્રવેશ મળેલ છે તેવા અનુસૂચિત જાતિ અને અનુસૂચિત જન જાતિના વિદ્યાર્થીઓ “ફ્રી શીપ કાર્ડના” માધ્યમથી જે તે સ્વનિર્ભર સંસ્થાઓમાં ફી ભર્યા વગર એડમિશન મેળવી શકે છે. આમ તેમા વિદ્યાર્થીઓએ પોતાના જિલ્લાના સમાજ કલ્યાણ વિભાગમાં ફ્રી શીપ કાર્ડ માટે અરજી કરવાની રહેશે. ત્યારબાદ તે ફ્રી શીપ કાર્ડ મેળવી જરૂરી જણાતી પ્રાઇવેટ કોલેજ કે યુનિવર્સિટીમાં પ્રવેશ મેળવી શકે છે. આમ તે વિદ્યાર્થીઓ ફ્રી શીપ કાર્ડ રજૂ કરી પોતાની ભરવાપાત્ર ફી માફ કરાવી સ્વનિર્ભર સંસ્થાઓમાં એડમિશન મેળવી શકે છે. ફ્રી શીપ કાર્ડ યોજના : એક સમજ સેલ્ફ ફાઈનાન્સ કોલેજમાં શિક્ષણ ફી વધુ હોવાથી આર્થિક રીતે પછાત વર્ગના પરિવારના બાળકો એડમિશન મેળવવામાં વંચિત રહી જાય છે. કારણે કે, તેઓની આર્થિક સ્થિતિ એટલી સારી નથી હોતી કે તેઓ આટ
